Ground re-development update
Following a meeting held Late February 2010 is has been decided that a sub-committee will be set up comprising of representatives from the Cricket and Tennis sections, the committee, the village, the school and the local schools sports partnership to consider moving the proposal forward. The initial feeling is that we need a meeting with someone from the local authority planning department on site to ascertain what is possible with the space that we have got and what we are able to build and still comply with the local authority planning regulations given that the club is situated within a conservation area. If successful we could potentially get a grant for £500,000 from the Lottery Fund.
