It was agreed the focus of the meeting would be to address forthcoming events;

• BBQ this Saturday 10th July – Jayne has circulated flyers
• Open mic Friday 30th July – Julia to distribute posters & post on website

Laurence has agreed to organise
Jayne to send out E mail

• Alzheimer’s walk 17th September
• Quiz night Friday 24th September
• Sportsperson diner 1st or 8th October at Royal Oak – John to make enquiries
• Miller band night in Nov – Tony to make enquiries
• Idea of beer festival in Feb/March next year
• Idea of Treasure Hunt raised
• Games night up for consideration

Jean Hubbard has asked we pass on her sincere thanks to club members following the funeral of Jim.

There has been a request for the club to be hired on an evening for a band to practice. It was agreed the only evenings available were in the winter, October onwards.

It has come to the clubs attention that motor bikes had been seen on the cricket field in the early hours. All are reminded to lock the gates.
A reminder also to members to ensure all club doors are locked as the side door was left open recently.

Idea was raised of having two price lists, one for members & one for non-members, in order that members are rewarded for their membership

Tidy up day for clearing out clutter arranged for Sunday 25th July am, any offers of assistance welcome.

Club marking not discussed, to take forward next meeting.
